AD Police - File 3: The man Who Bite His Tongue

Artist: Lou Bonnevie
Duration: 35:01
Genre: Anime Soundtrack
Label: バンダイビジュアル
My Rating:
Release: 1991
Comments:

Summary: AD Police officer Billy Fonward, 28, male, was critically wounded in a battle with a defective Boomer on the run. However, he was subjected to an experimental cybernetics operation which miraculously brought him back to life. With the exception of his brain and some of his internal organs, his body parts were completely replaced with mechanical substitutes, which transmit senses in the form of electrical information, thus leaving him with only his tongue to "feel" like a human being. The use of optional weapons and protectors enables him to work with highly dangerous cases without being affected by pain, consequently keeping him calm and decisive under any situation. After returning to work, Billy is promoted two ranks to become an AD Police Special Weapons Team Commander. He is, in effect, the first experimental subject to become an anti-Boomer Cyborg Police Officer. But Billy couldn't be a hero...

Akira: Original Soundtrack

Artist: Geinoh Yamashirogumi
Duration: 69:27
Genre: Soundtracks
Label: Jvc / Xrcd
My Rating:
Rating: 4.5 (12 votes)
Release: 1994
Summary: This is a must-own soundtrack for anyone that's seen the movie. The first track, Kaneda, is pure genius, and is one of the single greatest tracks from any film, in my opinion. The majority of the music on here is excellent, and by all means worth having. The music perfectly reflects the atmosphere of the movie, in more ways than one.

Armitage III: Poly Matrix

Artist: Hiroyuki Namba
Duration: 74:28
Genre: Anime Soundtrack
Label: Geneon [Pioneer]
My Rating:
Release: 1997
Comments:

Summary: Armitage III chronicles the attempts of detective Naomi Armitage to discover the serial killer of a series of advanced robots on Mars, rather unwillingly working with a detective from Earth who is running away from some issues of his own. Featuring atmospheric visuals and an eerily haunting soundtrack, this is a film that stays with you and warrants repeated viewing. Warning: this is one of the few titles I'd recommend which contains a high level of graphic and at times shocking violence; in this case the message is a powerful one and the violence essential to the story. (There are also what censorship enthusiasts like to call "adult situations" and a bit of mild nudity as well). A true classic, but definitely not for children or the weak of heart.
